Remembering John Richard Malcolm
"Our beloved John, my soulmate and best friend for 35 years, was unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage 4 terminal esophageal cancer on December 1st, 2023. Although told by doctors he had approximately 4 to 6 months remaining, his time with us was abruptly cut short when he left us a mere 20 days later.
He leaves behind a vast legacy through the thousands of lives touched by his extraordinary talent. Anyone that had the pleasure of seeing John perform, understands the impact he had and what a loss this is.
John was still singing at his peak up until a month before his death. Many have remarked that he never put on a bad show in his life....ever! On his final day with us, he spoke with joy and the anticipation of putting on one final show for his family and friends, but sadly time ran out.
